This site is for family & friends of John, his wife and daughter to share memories etc, especially as we can't come together for a wake, and we'd be very grateful for your contributions to it - photos, stories... just click on 'contribute' for the options and feel free to read the journal and other submissions, just scroll down.

Rather than receiving sympathy cards, we'd prefer for people to leave their messages of condolence (and how they knew John or us*) on this site so that the wider family will also benefit from your words of comfort. Thanks for sharing.

John's remains were buried on 8 April. Haven funeral Services took several photos, if any family or friends of John's would like to see them please get in touch with me via the 'contact' link on the left.

Our grateful thanks to those who were able to support us this past year with their prayers, cards, messages, offers of help, transport, meals, flowers, gifts, understanding...it was a great help practically, and good to know we weren't on this tough journey alone, in spite of covid. It also gave some comfort to our wider family, in Wales and Lancashire, to know we were being looked after so well.

Please especially remember in your prayers John's relatives in Wales & Canada at this difficult time; like many people of late, they haven't seen him for a long time, and have had to bear their sorrows and now their grief from a distance.
