John was a highly valued member of Morley College Chess Club. He played in the London League for Morley for many years.

I have included the scores of some of his best games from the many I have on record.

John kindly gave me the opportunity to accompany him to special art exhibitions, namely Hockney and Picasso.

I will remember him as a very pleasant and decent gentleman.
